Anti Wrinkle Injections
Anti-wrinkle injections can be used to refresh, rejuvenate and enhance the features of your appearance that are affecting your confidence and wellbeing.
This treatment is injected into areas such as the forehead, the brow and around the eyes to help reduce the signs of ageing, by preventing movement in the muscles. This will stop the skin from creasing and allow it to recover, resulting in the lines softening or even fading away entirely.
If you are considering anti-wrinkle injections to enhance or rejuvenate your appearance, AWA Skin Clinic is a sensible and safe place to discuss your requirements.
Treatment Information
You will receive an initial consultation with our medically qualified clinician as the treatment is medical and prescription based. A consultation is competed with you in order to understand what you would like to achieve from the treatment and discuss the best way to accomplish this. This typically lasts for 20 minutes.
At your treatment appointment you will finalise what you would like with your clinician, who will ask you to use certain muscles of the face to observe how they work. Once you are both happy, a small needle will be used to inject the agreed area(s). We will explain to you the post procedure plan and what will happen next.
Dermal Filler Injections
Dermal filler injections comprise of a semi-permanent solution. The filler is based on hyaluronic acid solution which is a naturally occurring sugar. This is injected under the skin with a fine needle in order to enhance facial features, plump and fill lines, grooves or sunken areas. At AWA we pride ourselves in using only high quality products FDA approved.
Administered correctly by a medical professional, dermal fillers can subtly smooth, soften, contour and tone the skin; restore youthful plumpness and enhance and define your features.
Treatment Information
Your dermal fillers consultation will be with a clinician who will assess your needs, suitability and determine the most appropriate form of treatment. If the decision is taken to proceed with filler treatment, they will be able to carry out the treatment in-clinic.
After your procedure, we will provide aftercare advice. Post treatment, there may be redness, bruising, swelling, tenderness, and/or itching near the injection site. This is normal and generally disappears within a few hours to several days.
